EXHIBITION OF WESTERN SIBERIA LATE XIX - THE FIRST QUARTER OF XX CENTURY

This article analyzes the activity of the exhibition movement in the late XIX - early XX century on the territory of Western Siberia. The questions of the organization and conduct of the Kurgan Agricultural Exhibition in 1895. The participation of the population in the region of the first exhibition in the West Siberian city of Omsk Agricultural Exhibition in 1911 were of great importance. In addition to education, they promoted the improvement of the agricultural sector. However, they did not reflect fully the state of agriculture. Holding of exhibitions was kind of summing up the scientific study of nature and the people of Western Siberia. Positively affected the value of exhibitions in the fact that in the course of preparation for it has several serious studies covering various aspects of agriculture, the economy and social life of the region. Exhibition movement intensified revival of agro-industrial life of the region, stimulate civic opinion, activate the work of scientific and other relevant local organizations.
