REMINISCENCES OF MURID ABOUT SHEIKH SHARAPUDDIN AL-KIKUNI

The article is devoted to reminiscences of Sheikh Sharapuddin al-Kikuni’s adherent – the well-known representative of Daghestani diasporas in Turkey. The reminiscences were published in Turkish language as a small booklet named «Єerafeddin Zeynelabidin Hazretleri ve Ali Usta» (“The Honorable Sheikh Sherafeddin Zeinalabidin and Ali Usta”). The composer and author of introduction and additions to the text was Hasan Burkay, a representative of the Sufi Order of Naqshbandiya in Turkey. In the present article it is given a survey of reminiscences as a valuable source narrates about life and activity of Sheikh Sharapuddin in particular and about the North-Caucasian diasporas in Turkey of the end of XIX – beginning of XX century in whole.
