ANTIRELIGIOUS ACTIVITYS OF THE UNION OF MILITANT ATHEISTS IN SOTSGOROD OF GORKY AUTOMOBILE PLANT IN THE 1930TH YEARS

Article is devoted to antireligious activity of the Union of Militant Atheists in Sotsgorod of Gorky Automobile Plant in the 1930th years. All-class fight at the front socialist construction was a task of this organization. The religion was thus considered as the tool of the class enemy. Research is based on the principles of a historicism, objectivity, complex studying of historical processes and the phenomena. Methodological base of research made general scientific (the analysis, synthesis) and special and historical methods: periodizations, problem and chronological methods. Brief information on history SVB is given in article, the main ways of atheistic promotion are considered: carrying out thematic evenings, lectures, conversations, release of articles in newspapers “Bezbozhnik”, except that SVB participated in formation of culture of daily occurrence. All activity of SVB was divided into 2 periods: 1930-1934 and 1935 - 1938. - recession and lifting periods. This article about inricate transformation of religion worldview by soviet workers.
