THE SOVIET STATE AND NTR: PROBLEMS AND ACHIEVEMENTS (50–60TIES XX CENTURY)

The article presents the analysis of state’s policy in science and technology in 1950–1960ties XX century. The article examines the search of new structural approaches and methods of management of scientific-technical progress under initiated scientific-technical revolution’s conditions. Special attention is paid to state’s activities in the field of development of privileged orientation of scientific-technical progress: integrated mechanization and automation of manufacture, improvement of control system and planning of science and technology, manpower development and adoption of new technology. The article describes the leading scientists’ point of view on issues of development of science and technology and its contribution into realization of policy in science and technology in a given period. The article has been identified as a positive experience and negative factors impeding the realization of new ideas and constructive proposals in development of NTP during the study period. The authors made a number of findings of practical relevance in the context of modern economic modernization.
