DERBENT CUSTOMS IN THE CONTEXT OF ECONOMIC CAUCASIAN ECONOMIC POLICY RUSSIA (1722–1735)

The article, based on archive material, first introduced by the authors in the scientific revolution, and the previously published evidence highlights one of the important components of the Caucasian Russian economic policy - namely, imposition of customs duties Derbent Customs, representing system of various duty exemptions , the income from which in the budget of Russia in XVIII occupied an important place. Studied the activity of the Russian administration for economic development of the littoral provinces, resulting from military and diplomatic efforts during large-scale military and political action of the Petrine era - the Caspian campaign. It is shown that a great importance in strengthening the economy, the Government gave to the development of domestic and foreign trade . Examined the activities of customs officers under the control of Derbent, Dagestan Derbent and infantry regiments of the lower reaches of the body of the Russian army.
