DEVELOPMENT KAITAG-RUSSIA RELATIONS IN THE 20TH YEARS XVIII CENTURY (MILITARY-POLITICAL ASPECT)

The problem of the kaitag-russian relations during activization of the southern Caucasian vector of foreign policy of Russia in 20th years of the XVIII century, namely in the period of Peter’s I board is investigated. Interpreting of the kaitag-russian relations in a difficult historical stage, gives the chance to restore rather full picture of the Russian-Dagestan relations, to define the political line of the Dagestan possessors directed on orientation to Russia, to consider stages of occurrence of the Dagestan political educations in structure of the Russian Empire, to give the objective assessment, to occurring military-political events in the region. The role and place of the utsmiystvo of Kaitag in policy of Russia in the Caucasus, the relation of the utsmiystvo of Kaitag to policy of Russia in the region is considered, military-political actions as Russia, and the Kaitag governor an utsmiyAhmed- khan are considered.
