PERSON IN HISTORY - GAIDAR BAMMAT

This article tells about the life and work of prominent political and public figure of Dagestan and the North Caucasus - Gaydar Bammat. He was known not only as a prominent politician, but as a first-rate lawyer, a gifted writer and publicist. However, despite all of his outstanding service for many years of his life and practice, of his literary works, it is not known at home in Russia. The author notes that this issue today and poorly understood by historians and requires further research. The paper attempts to objectively examine his life and the many-sided activity, they discover new sides to purge the image from the unilateral approach that was typical of past eras, and reveal the true place that he, as an outstanding, outstanding personality, is in the story. The author identifies and shows the conditions of formation and the formation of his world. Considerable attention is paid to the activities in the Mountain Bammat Gaidar government as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Mountain. Sets out the main objectives of the Mountain government. The paper discusses and analyzes the major literary works of Gaidar Bammat for many years remained inaccessible to readers in Russia. Finally, referring to his fruitful activity in exile. The author comes to the conclusion that the literary work and practice G.Bammata as public and political figure, like a mirror, reflects the contradictions extremely complex, intense global events and great upheavals of the era - the era of ups and downs, uncompromising class and ideological struggle.
